A little about me

Rarely seen without a camera, or a smile, It probably won't come as a surprise to you that I happen to be passionate about photography. However while I have always been creative, the greatest thing about my job by far is the people. I love meeting people, and getting to be a part of their life. It is a vastly rewarding experience, and an honour to have the opportunity to capture moments, emotions, experiences and images that will bring memories for a lifetime.


As a photographer I want to know who you are and what is important to you. I believe that everyone is unique, and has a story, and connecting with people in a personal way leads to more natural, relaxed photos. It helps that ever since I was young I have never been afraid to start up a conversation with anyone and make a new friend. On that note, if you are reading this today, I would love to hear from you, even if it is just a message to say hello.

My ethos

Finding the right photographer can be a daunting process, and I try my best to make the process easier. Hiring a photographer should be a straightforward, simple, and exciting process from the time you make contact right to the time you receive your photos.


There is a big difference between being a good photographer and having the abilitiy to take a good photo. A good photographer needs to be a people person, solve problems, generate ideas and concepts on the fly, communicate effectively, direct people, make people comfortable and bring out the best in them, as well as be highly adaptable and able to think on their feet. They must evaluate light and locations, and make the most of bad conditions while still producing professional results. They must know their gear inside out as well, always be learning and adapting, and must be prepared for hours upon hours of editing.


I aim to provide a forward thinking, contemporary service, with packages that make sense for today's market. My packages are built to be simple, and include shooting, editing, and final photos at both full size (for print), and web quality (for email, facebook, social media, and web). Neither version is watermarked and I am happy for you to print, share, post, and use the photos as you please within reason. I do ask that I am able to use photos to showcase, use in my folio, and for my own self promotion, however if this is a problem just let me know and we can work something out.


I am constantly investing back into my business; into better equipment, gear and software, so that I can continue to provide a high standard product. I am passionate about continuing to improve, to provide the best results and experience I can. I am passionate about both photography and people. Being around people energizes me, so I love that I get to combine my passions.
